Meet the Program Instructors

  • Acting & Vocal Instructor

    Ashley began acting professionally at age six at the Pasadena Playhouse, later performing in short films, commercials, and Tyler Perry’s Love Thy Neighbor. She earned a Young Artist Award nomination for her work in the short film “To Wander in Pandemonium” and has spent countless years studying scripts, auditioning, performing, and refining her abilities. At Radha School of Music, Ashley uses her experience to equip students with the tools and confidence needed to pursue acting professionally. She combines her artistry and acting expertise to cultivate confidence and authenticity in her students.

  • Acting Instructor

    Curtis starred as Miles Preston on Nickelodeon’s The Haunted Hathaways and has also appeared in Grey’s Anatomy, L.A.’s Finest, and Fringe. Curtis was fully immersed in the acting industry, spending long hours on set and gaining a deep understanding of what it takes to thrive in television and film. His journey has sharpened his ability to collaborate, tell stories that resonate, and perform with authenticity. Curtis now brings that wealth of knowledge to his students, empowering them to pursue successful acting careers.

Learning Objectives

Gain confidence on stage & screen, create portfolio-ready footage, and see a clear path forward in your acting journey

  • Learn warm-ups, how to present yourself naturally in scenes, and effective script analysis.

  • Explore given circumstances, backstory, and the emotional dimensions of a character. You’ll practice living truthfully as your character and developing the inner life that makes performances authentic.

  • Strengthen your projection, diction, breath support, and body language. We’ll train your physicality on stage and build confidence in how your voice and body communicate emotion.

  • Develop skills for slates, cold reads, and self-tapes. You’ll learn audition confidence, how to walk into the room (or film from home) ready to deliver with professionalism.

  • Practice thinking on your feet through improv. Learn to make bold, in-the-moment choices that align with your character’s personality and story.

  • We’ll guide you through practical next steps: building your portfolio with headshots, reels, and submissions, as well as providing strategies for pursuing acting professionally.
