Harking from West Virginia in the heart of Appalachia, Pierson Keating has been writing songs since age seven and teaching piano since 2017. Classically and jazz-trained, he is passionate about fostering creativity and versatility in my students, as well as a sense of appreciation for the music that has and continues to shape and inspire them. Artists that continue to inspire Pierson are Billy Joel, Ben Folds, and Louis Cole. Pierson continues to compose music, teach piano, and perform both solo and with bands throughout the Austin area.
