Production Crew
Indigo Studios Production Crew is a platform for aspiring audio-visual enthusiasts who want to explore the world of professional video productions and produce them yourself.
RSM’s Production Crew provides comprehensive training and hands-on experience to help you learn and implement skills involved in music production. As a crew member, you'll be invited to collaborate and work with Indigo Studios on various productions, both within the school and out in the Austin music scene.
These hands-on experiences will give you a taste of what it’s like behind the scenes, allowing you to expand your skillset for future opportunities. This includes opportunities to shadow & intern at other recording studios and live music venues in Austin. Students can go from shadowing experienced teachers and crew to assisting and teaching newer members. Leadership roles are open to students who gain experience and show they are ready.
Adults and teens over the age of 12 are welcome to join the Indigo Studios Production Crew.
HOW TO GET STARTED
Step 1: Reach out by filling out the form below and we’ll schedule a time for a phone call to discuss what you’re looking to learn and how you’d like to be involved
Step 2: Sign up for training sessions to become familiar with equipment and learn the in depth world of production. See upcoming training dates below or reach out.
The pricing of the training sessions differ dependent on the topic and teacher. A full training day (6-8 hours) can be between $70-$100.
Step 3: Once you’ve found the area of production you are leaning more towards, join the ongoing crew and get involved with the endless projects and sessions here at Indigo Studio

Live @ The Indigo Room
A series featuring handpicked performing artists with an emphasis on improvisation and collaboration, produced by our students and facilitated by production teachers. This provides our crew members with the opportunity to work with many different artists which instills both independence and self-confidence!
